The Unusual Guy. With a habit of taking things apart to see how they work — started with electronics, ended up with code.
The story
It was always going to be IT. As a kid I was taking apart electronics and putting them back together — sometimes successfully. In high school I discovered programming, and that was it. Third place at the national informatics competition, first special award — building an e-diary Android app in what was then just becoming Kotlin. That competition is where I wrote my first real C code and realized this was the direction.
ITS followed, then websites in PHP and .NET, then JavaScript, TypeScript, and eventually React Native in 2019. In 2023 I started attending App.js Conference in Kraków — where I met William Candillon, whose work was a big reason I went deep into React Native in the first place.

Beyond the IDE
Džaja, my 6-year-old dachshund, makes sure I don't overwork. He's been a loyal desk companion for years — long before remote work was fashionable.
I travel when I can — mostly Europe, sea when possible. Kraków has a special place, partly the conference, partly just a great city. I keep a small aquarium, play recreational tennis, and used to play volleyball at a serious level before programming permanently took over that time slot.
Cooking is a genuine hobby, not an Instagram one. The kind that takes time and smells like something.
